Our little singer
Evan LOVES to sing. If you ask him to sing you a song, he will sing a (LONG) song that he made up himself. During church, he sings loudly along with the hymns. It's cute, but a little embarrassing sometimes. Today, during church, we were singing and Evan was singing along as usual. In the middle of the second verse, I hear "Everybody sing!" He thinks he's a rock star.
On another note, next Sunday will be the last time we have to chase Asher around the hallways during church! Nursery here we come! YAY!

Asher has learned a new word!
Well, he says a new word or two every day now, but this week, he learned an especially noteworthy word. That inevitable toddler exclamation: "Mine!" Two days ago, I started hearing something that sounded suspiciously like the word, but it wasn't crystal clear. He has perfected it, though, and now it's perfectly pronounced and is even said with the appropriate tone of frustration.
I wonder where he learned it from?

I know I haven't posted much lately. I've been hard at work! I'm SO excited about my holiday cards! I created two fun lines with different themes this year. "Holly Jolly Holidays" is a fun set of cards in the traditional red and green. "Holiday Chocolate" is a holiday collection with a chocolaty twist! :) Check 'em out!

Scary statue man
We've been a little boring lately. We did go up to Logan yesterday morning, though. I photographed a couple girls from Ben's class this morning, so yesterday I wanted to go up to the school to scope out some good spots for portraits.
I asked Evan to sit on the bench next to this guy. I told him to scoot closer. After studying the statue for a minute, he looked back at me and said, "I don't like him". Then he got off the bench.

My favorite picture from the afternoon:
