TWO!

I can't believe it, but my baby girl is already TWO years old! Where has the time gone?

Ellie had a really low-key birthday this year. It's nice when they're little and you can get away with that. Ben and I spent FOR... EV...ER putting together her little kitchen on Saturday night so that when she woke up on her birthday, it would be ready and waiting.







It was worth it though, because she has been absolutely LOVING it!



That night, we had spaghetti, which is one of Ellie's favorites. Then came cake! (My cakes are always so magnificent. Ha!)

 

She was afraid of the candles and did NOT want that cake anywhere near her! She kept saying, "No! Hot, hot!" 



She reluctantly gave a little blow towards the candles, though, and then Daddy helped her finish them off.



She was VERY interested in getting a piece of it to eat, though.

Kindergarten graduate!

Asher graduated from kindergarten this week! He had such a fun year and really loved going to school. He has actually become quite the little social butterfly over the last year and made lots of friends in his class.

On Monday, they had a little "graduation ceremony" for the parents to come to.

We started in the cafeteria with all the other kindergarten classes and each student had their name called and was given a certificate.



Then, we went back to Asher's class room where his class sang us a little song.

One more catch up post

So, it felt like I had a million catch up posts to write, but I think after this one, I'm finally caught up! Yay! This post is actually just a few pictures that didn't really fit anywhere else.

First up, some adorable pics of Ellie in some blossoms this spring. You may remember Asher's birthday pictures. Well, I couldn't pass up a chance to take a few pictures of my sweet girl in the blossoms, too. :)







Next up... some pictures of me and Ben! I know... they're so rare on this blog. My friend Alanna was sweet enough to take these pictures of us when we went over to their place for a little visit. She took a whole bunch of beautiful pictures, but because I've been sick and tired and busy growing a baby, I only chose my three favorites to edit.
