10 Months!

Ellie is 10 months old now. That seems so close to a year old... A little too close for my taste! She is determined to grow up as quickly as possible.

 

She had her doctor appointment today and she is in the 79th percentile for height (29 inches) and only the 6th percentile for weight (16 lbs. 9 oz.)!

She is walking all over the place now and has even started trying to climb things. Luckily she's still too short to really climb onto anything of much consequence. She especially loves to climb stairs when she gets the chance. I'm so glad we don't have any in our home!

She has become quite a Daddy's girl. She gets so excited when Ben comes home and is extremely offended if he doesn't give her hugs and kisses right away.

She still LOVES to eat and will still eat pretty much anything. The only thing she has spit back out so far is an olive. Her favorite thing to do while she's eating right now is rub her food in her hair. This leaves Mommy in a tough situation because she's not supposed to have a bath more than once a week (because of eczema)!

She has also mastered the straw and loves to drink from a cup!

Ellie has gone from two to SIX teeth in the past month! For a while, it was just the far right incisor on the top, which looked a little like a lopsided vampire. Ben liked to call her "snaggletooth". Luckily the other three are quickly catching up.

 

She continues to be a little sweetie, although her sassy side is starting to show, too. She's learning how to hold her own with those big brothers. :)
