Easter!

We had a pretty low key Easter, which is the way we usually like our holidays.

The boys had a lot of fun coloring eggs on Saturday night.

Ellie would have had fun too, if I had let her hold all the eggs at once, splash in the egg dye, smack the eggs with the spoons, try to fit all the eggs in one cup, or let her put her fingers in the dye. I'm a meanie though, so she mostly did this the whole time:

She did get to enjoy it a little bit though.

On Sunday morning, we got up to see what the Easter Bunny brought. He stuck with a beach/pool theme this year.

The squirt guns immediately became weapons (of course).

Then it was time for the egg hunt. All three of the kids really loved this part.

After that, it was time for playing with Easter basket goodies and snuggling with Daddy. :)

We enjoyed the chance to go to church and worship our Savior, for whom we are so grateful. It's always good to reflect on His sacrifice, but Easter always feels so special.

After a yummy ham dinner, we had friends over for desert and games. Now, the only thing left to do is finish all the hard boiled eggs! Ha.
