Spy Party!

We had Asher's birthday party on Saturday. It was a whole FOUR days after his birthday, which for a four-turning-five-year-old is an excruciating wait. Asher was super patient though and would ask me every day how many days were left until his party.

We looked at party ideas online together and Asher chose a spy party. We sent out spy mission assignments (a.k.a.: invitations) to his friends.





On Saturday, Asher helped me decorate.





Then friends started to arrive! We had balloon bad guys to fight...







...and a "laser" obstacle course.






We had bomb cupcakes...









...and presents, of course.





At the end, the kids had to follow clues to find their secret agent gear (Notebook, pen, disguise glasses and mustaches, stickers). The kids loved the disguises.







Ellie slept almost the whole time, and then she sat around and chewed on the birthday presents.



Everyone seemed to have a great time, and Asher especially enjoyed himself, which was the most important part!
