Evan went for a hike with some friends up to Rattlesnake Ridge (he's standing up in the middle there with a blue shirt on).

While he was there, the rest of us went to the park to enjoy the sunshine. Aria rode in the umbrella stroller like a big girl for the very first time. She fit in it better than I thought she would, which made me kind of sad!

On another day, we walked over to the elementary school to play.

We also spent a little time blowing bubbles off the deck.

Here's a fun little video:
Unfortunatly, we didn't get to enjoy most of the nice weather because we were all sick! Everyone except Asher and Ben had sore throats with coughing and sneezing. Poor Aria even had goopy eyes and a fever that got up to 104! Luckily, it went down with some tylenol and a cooler outfit. She was still so happy and sweet while she wasn't feeling well.

Luckily, we are all feeling much better now!
Sleeping arrangement update: Things are actually going pretty well with the bedroom change. Asher and Aria are the perfect pair... he falls asleep quickly and quietly, so he doesn't disturb her, and he sleeps through pretty much anything, so she doesn't disturb him. Evan and Ellie are a different story. She's a little stinker and won't stay in bed, but she eventually falls asleep and if Evan ignores her, he can usually fall asleep before she does. For the most part it's working out. I did find this the other day, though:
Evan has been in cub scouts for a year and two months now and I finally put all his patches on his shirt this week!
Can't get enough of that sweet, drooly face! She has become quite the little chatterbox when she feels like it:
If Ellie is wearing a jacket, she almost always unbuckles herself and takes it off while we're in the car. The other day, I turned around and saw this:
When I asked why she took her shirt off, she said she took it off because she was cold.
In school, Evan is working hard to learn all his multiplication facts and has started reading Black Beauty. He is also working on writing a haiku. Asher is reading some short stories like "The Ugly Duckling", practicing subtraction, and learning about nursery rhymes. In science, we studied physical changes this past week, so we made rock candy!
On Saturday, we went down to the "Super Mall" to do some shopping. Ben let each of the kids pick something to buy. The boys both picked shirts and Ellie picked these giant sunglasses.
