Then, it was off to Youth Conference. It was really weird for me to be in the leadership role at something like this. It feels like not too long ago when I was just one of the young women. It's definitely an interesting change in perspective. :) We went to Cherry Hill to camp and play at the water park on Friday night. After a night of pretty much no sleep (chatty girls combined with sleeping on the hard ground.... doesn't make for a great night's sleep!), we went to Salt Lake for the day. We helped out at the soup kitchen and the mission home for the homeless. We toured Welfare Square, watched the Joseph Smith movie (which always makes me BAWL my head off), and then had a Testimony meeting. After lunch at Chuck-a-rama, we were home!

Ben enjoyed having the house to himself for the weekend and playing guilt free video games. :) He did the farmers market on Saturday morning and then went golfing with his buddies in the afternoon.
Since Ben and I had a Saturday night to ourselves, we went out for ice cream and saw the new Harry Potter movie. It was really fun to go on a date and not worry about what time we got home. :)
Yesterday, we drove up to Rexburg to get the boys and spend the day with my family. It was great to spend a Sunday with the fam. :) And I was happy to see my little boys again.
One funny little bit from our Sunday in Rexburg: Evan's primary class talked about tithing, so they each got a bag of ten pennies and were supposed to give one of them to the bishop. As we were coming home, he said, "When you go to church at Grandpa and Grandma Johansen's church, you get money!" :)
