Six months!

On Tuesday, our sweet little Aria turned six months old. I can't believe how time has flown by!

 Six Months

She is such a sweet, sweet little girl. I was a little worried because she was by far my fussiest newborn, but she has turned into such a happy, pleasant, easy going baby. We are enjoying her so much!

A few details about Aria right now...

*She's starting to laugh more and more. Instead of just a reflex to being tickled, she is starting to laugh on purpose and her siblings are good at getting her to giggle! She currently enjoys peek-a-boo.

*She hasn't been to her six month doctor's appointment yet, but a few weeks ago, at her five month appointment, she was 13 lbs. and 25.3 inches. She is wearing nine month clothes... mostly because she is tall, but she does have a little more baby chub on her than Ellie ever did (which I am loving!).

*She loves to grab everything she can reach, and she's getting fast! You have to be careful if you are holding her on your lap while you are eating something! Interestingly, she doesn't put things in her mouth very often, like most babies do. She does love to chew on her fingers, though!

*She is finally sleeping through the night most nights (knock on wood!). We had a little bit of a rough stretch there for a while (which I've read is normal at 4-5 months) where she was waking every hour or two. It was worse than when she was a newborn! I'm so glad we seem to be leaving that phase behind.

*She doesn't show any signs of crawling, which is totally fine with me! She is getting really good at rolling, but doesn't really roll with the intention of actually getting anywhere (also fine with me!). She will roll over to reach a toy that is next to her, though.

*She is liking solid food, though she has only had carrots and apples so far.

*She totally adores her brothers and sister. They can keep her entertained for hours.

We sure love this sweet girl!
